Coupling Testing - Nencki Coupling Testing NCT
The coupling: the binding link in the chain.
Test train couplings for all necessary properties that are essential for the safety of personnel and the smooth operation of your railway fleet. With the NCT Coupling Testing, the following tests can be performed:
- Mechanical testing: Tensile/compressive force and locking function
- Kinetic testing: Impact test with up to 200 kN / 1 m/s
- Electrical testing: Insulation resistance and continuity
- Pneumatic testing: Tightness and function
Areas of application: Anywhere rolling stock is manufactured or maintained and then needs to be tested.
Applications: Train couplings up to 200 kg compression and tensile load (test objects up to 1.3 m in length)
- Components for automatic and short couplings used in passenger coaches, locomotives, and freight cars (DAC, Digital Automatic Coupling)
- For disassembly and assembly within the testing procedure for short couplings
- Integrated tensile/compressive load cell for force measurement
- Operation via industrial PC and touch panel
