Design Engineer EFZ
Duration of apprenticeship: 4 years
As a Design Engineer, you develop individual parts and assemblies of machines, devices, or everyday products using state-of-the-art 3D software. You carry out entire projects or parts of projects. Creating bills of materials or operating instructions is just as much part of your responsibilities as clarifications with suppliers regarding standard and purchased parts.
Requirements:
- Completed compulsory school with high requirements
- Good performance in geometry, mathematics, and physics
- Technical understanding
- Precise and careful working method
- Ability to visualize things spatially
