The bogie lowering systems allow bogies and other components to be easily, safely, and efficiently installed and removed under the car body of rail vehicles without needing to uncouple the train composition. The delivery scope also includes the control system and necessary safety devices for personnel, such as railings at drop edges. The systems are planned, delivered, and installed for both new construction projects and the retrofitting of existing workshops.
Various design options are possible, such as platforms with a level surface and integrated tracks or systems with elevated tracks for workshops with pit tracks or permanently installed track systems.
The systems can also be expanded with track bridges or covers, ensuring additional pit openings are safely closed and drivable. The systems are available in various designs regarding load capacity, dimensions, lifting height, and track gauge to meet individual customer requirements.
